The Acura CL is a midsize coupe sold from 1996 to 2003 and was the first Acura to be built in the U.S. Overall the CL was considered a satisfactory vehicle, but failed to gain traction or popularity. Available trims were base, Premium or Type-S.
Available engines for the Acura were a 2.2 and 2.3L I4 as well as a 3.0L and 3.2L V6. Available transmissions were 4 and 5 speed automatics as well as 5 and 6 speed manuals. The body style never strayed from the 2-door coupe style.
